Salesforce Scheduler Objects
With Salesforce Scheduler, you get access to a suite of standard Salesforce objects. Salesforce Scheduler shares these objects with Field Service.

| Appointment Invitation | An invitation URL that’s created for customers who can use it to book appointments. | |
| Appointment Invitee | A service resource (employee or contractor) or an asset that's assigned to an appointment invitation. | |
| Appointment Topic Time Slot | A time period on a specified day of the week when an appointment topic within a service territory is available for appointment. | |
| Assigned Resource | An employee attendee (service resource) that is assigned to a service appointment. | |
| Engagement Channel Type | A channel through which a customer can be reached for communication. | |
| Engagement Channel Work Type | A work type associated with a particular engagement channel type. | |
| Holiday | A time period during which a service resource is unavailable for appointment booking. | |
| Operating Hours | Specific hours of a day during which appointments can be scheduled. You can define operating hours for service territories, service territory members, work types, and accounts. |

| Operating Hours Holiday | A time period for which a service territory and service resources exclusive to the service territory are unavailable for appointment booking. | |
| Resource Absence | A vacation day or holiday when an employee attendee (service resource) is unavailable. | |
| Service Appointment | An appointment booked through Salesforce Scheduler. |

| Service Resource | An employee from your organization, such as a loan officer, investment advisor, doctor, nurse practitioner, or retail store specialist, who attends appointments with clients. |
|
| Shift | A shift for service resource scheduling. | |
| Shift Engagement Channel | An engagement channel type associated with a particular shift. | |
| Shift Work Topic | A work topic (work type or work type group) associated with a particular shift. | |
| Skill | A skill, expertise, or certification available in your organization. When the Match Skills scheduling policy rule is enforced, only employees with the right skills are assigned to appointments. | |
| Service Resource Skill | A skill assigned to a service resource. You can specify skill level and expiration. | |
| Skill Requirement | A skill that is required to attend appointments dealing with a particular topic. Skill requirements can be added to work types. | |
| Service Territory | Branch or office locations where your appointment attendees operate from or meet customers. |

| Service Territory Member | A service resource who is assigned to a particular service territory. | |
| Service Territory Work Type | A work type associated with a particular service territory. | |
| Time Slot | A period in a day when an appointment can be scheduled. Operating hours consist of one or more time slots. | |
| Work Type | Appointment templates that link appointment topics (work type groups) with particular locations (service territories) and define key parameters such as appointment duration, preparation and wrap-up buffers, and availability timings. |

| Work Type Group | A general appointment category or topic such as home loan or investment. |
|
| Work Type Group Member | A work type that belongs to a particular work type group. |
