Turn on Block Resource Availability to show the before and after appointment buffers on a service resource’s Salesforce calendar.
| Available in: Lightning Experience. |
| Available in: Enterprise and Unlimited Editions |
When creating a work type, you can specify meeting preparation and wrap-up time by specifying values in the Block Time Before Appointment and Block Time After Appointment fields. In Salesforce Scheduler, during appointment scheduling, the number of available time slots is automatically adjusted to accommodate the before and after buffer time. However, if the Block Resource Availability setting is disabled, the before and after appointment buffers aren’t reflected on the service resource’s Salesforce calendar. Enable the Block Resource Availability setting to reflect the before and after time blocks on the Salesforce calendar.
