Add Permission Sets to Permission Set Groups
After you’ve created a permission set group, you can add permission sets to the group based on the needs of a particular user job role or persona.

There are several ways to add permission sets to permission set groups. The most efficient method depends on how many updates you're making. You can add up to 100 permission sets to a permission set group.

Add a Single Permission Set to Multiple Permission Set Groups
If you're adding a permission set to several permission set groups, it's most efficient to make these updates from the permission set's summary page.
- From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Permission Sets, and then select Permission Sets.
- Select a permission set.
- Click View Summary.
- In the Related Permission Set Groups tab, click Add. Select permission set groups, and then click Add.
Add Multiple Permission Sets to a Permission Set Group from the Summary Page
If you're adding multiple permission sets to the same permission set group, you can make this update from the permission set group's summary page.
- From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Permission Set Groups, and then select Permission Set Groups.
- Select a permission set group.
- Click View Summary.
- In the Included Permission Sets tab, click Add.
- Select permission sets, then click Add. After the update is complete, the permission set group status changes to Updated.
Add Multiple Permission Sets to a Permission Set Group from the Detail Page
If you're adding multiple permission sets to the same permission set group, you can also make this update from the permission set group's detail page.
- From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Permission Set Groups, and then select Permission Set Groups.
- Select a permission set group.
- Click Permission Sets in Group.

On the Add Permission Sets detail page, select the permission sets that you want to
add to the group, and click Add.
Tip For easier management, you can first create a list view to filter permission sets. Then select this list view when you add permission sets to the permission set group. - Click Done. After the update is complete, the permission set group status changes to Updated.
