Audit Log

The audit log provides admins with a detailed record of recent events for all users.

Events Recorded in the Audit Log

The log records various events, including but not limited to:

  • User logins and logouts
  • Jobs or reports viewed by users
  • On-demand backups
  • Creation of smart alerts
  • Data Privacy subject requests
  • Adding, deleting, and archiving services
  • Initiation of jobs for data restore, data compare, and replicate
  • Adding, removing, or updating users or business units
  • Changes to security settings (for example, enabling or disabling SSO, MFA, or IP Restrictions)
  • Generating, revoking, and using API Tokens

Log Entry Details

Each log entry includes the user who initiated the action, the timestamp and the IP address.

Admin Features

Admins can filter the results by user or service, and download the events as a CSV file that starts with the latest logged event and has a file size limit of 10KB.

Accessing the Audit Log

To access the audit log, go to Auditing in Account Settings.
