            Own Regions and IP Addresses for Allowlisting

            When you limit network traffic to Salesforce, add these IP addresses to the list of Login IP Ranges. This will let Own connect to your environment.

            You can choose an Own Region for the storage of data depending on the Own products being used. Keep in mind the following points:

            • The region is compliant with regulations for your location. Non-US-based organizations containing data on US customers may want to use a US-based region.
            • The region covers or is close to your geographic location.
            • The region supports the Own products you use.

            Own does not have a concrete recommendation for selecting a server as each organization operates differently. However, if you have no specific requirements, it is best to select a server near the region of your Salesforce instance.

            Allowlist these URLs:

            • app.owndata.com
            • auth.owndata.com
            • The regional URLs of any region you have an account in. For example, if you have a region in usgov2, allow the following URL: usgov2.owndata.com. You can see the region name in the left-side navigation bar in the Own Platform.

            These settings apply to org-wide settings and profile settings in some cases, depending on your configuration. The tables include the country locations where the data of each region is stored.
