Security Insights Alerts

Security Insights offers alerts that can be created, configured, and subscribed to.

There are four categories of Security Insights alerts.

• Security Insights Reports
  • Action Plan: An emailed report, detailing each Security Insight and the score achieved. Information and recommendations outline what is required to improve the scores for each insight and category.
  • Progress Report: This emailed report compares the Security Insights results from the last analysis with the most recent, and highlights key changes.

• Integration
  • New Connected Apps are added
  • New Insecure Remote Site Settings are found
• High Risk Permissions

• Create Security Insights Alerts
  Manage your company's security proactively with Security Insights alerts. Customize alerts to focus on specific security insights, such as administrative permissions or data vulnerability.
• Subscribe to Security Insights Alerts
  Receive progress reports that compare the results of the latest security analysis with previous ones. Improve planning and resource allocation for security measures by tracking improvements or regressions in security settings over time.
• Scheduling Automated Snapshots
  You can schedule a Platform Encryption Analysis, Data Classification Snapshot, Security Insights Refresh, History Retention Policy Snapshot, and Fill Rates Analysis. These can be configured to run on a Daily, Weekly, or Monthly basis. When scheduling, it is recommended to schedule the Platform Encryption Analysis to run separately from the Security Insights job, with a two to three hour buffer between them.
