Time Machine
The Time Machine allows you to view results from previous analysis jobs within Security Insights and the Platform Encryption Analyzer, along with previous snapshots that were scheduled and captured in Data Classification and the History Retention Policy Manager.
When a previous analysis or snapshot is selected, the data in the tab is updated to reflect the results from that analysis or snapshot. Help text provides information from that analysis or snapshot, as well as a link to exit the Time Machine.
Security Insights Time Machine Features
The Timeline view and List view are specific to Security Insights and provide users with greater insight into analysis jobs.
The Timeline view provides this information for a selected node:
- The date of the selected node.
- A timestamp for each analysis job that ran.
- If there were any policy changes between analysis jobs.
- If the job was canceled or encountered any errors.
The List view provides this information for all analysis jobs:
- A date and timestamp.
- An execution number.
- The status of each job.
- Which user started the job.
- Details of the analysis.
- If there were any policy changes or errors.
