          Secure

          Secure by Own from Salesforce is a managed package that helps you get more out of Salesforce security and access features. Gain insights into your data’s security posture and classify data for informed security policy management. Understand which users can access which data and navigate data retention and field history settings. Secure includes features now found in Security Center Extension and Shield Extension managed packages.

            Secure provides a detailed analysis of your Salesforce security, going beyond the basic Salesforce Health Check. With Secure, administrators gain the ability to align security settings with industry best practices and organizational InfoSec policies, ensuring robust protection of sensitive data.
          • Install Secure
            Classify your data, evaluate its protection status, and address security vulnerabilities using a risk-based scoring system with Secure.
          • Security Center Features in Secure
            Secure by Own from Salesforce helps you find and classify sensitive data, evaluate user access and data exposure, and undertake risk analyses. These features are now sold as part of the Security Center Extension managed package. They have the same functionality as those available to existing Secure customers.
          • Shield Features in Secure
            Secure by Own from Salesforce includes features that help you get more out of Salesforce Shield products. These features are now sold as part of the Shield Extension managed package. They have the same features as those available to current Secure customers.

            Batch Configuration Custom Metadata Type is included with Secure to handle issues that rise with certain Managed Package features within larger Salesforce orgs. Enabling the Custom Metadata Type with unique configurations enable, for example, specific jobs to finish without timeout errors, or load pages faster in some apps.
