Seeding and Anonymizing Data

The Seeding application copies selected Salesforce objects from a production org or sandbox to a sandbox, supporting software development, QA, and training. The Anonymize application replaces data in Salesforce sandbox object fields with alternate values to privatize original data and verify compliance with privacy laws and regulations.

The Seeding application provides you with the ability to copy objects of your choosing from a data source and populate them into a data destination from a Salesforce production org or sandbox to a Salesforce sandbox.

Own’s Anonymize application provides you with the ability to replace data existing in the (object) fields of a Salesforce sandbox with alternate values. These new values make the original data private to avoid sharing personal information (PII), sensitive information, or classified information. By anonymizing the data that they work with, product development organizations preserve information privacy and, thereby, comply with national and international laws and regulations protecting PII exposure.
