Seeding Data in ServiceNow
Seeding for ServiceNow allows you to populate data sets from a production, sub-prod, or personal developer instance. Protect personally identifiable and sensitive information when you seed anonymized data using custom templates. Build templates that define a subset of related data to extract from a source instance, and use those templates to quickly and repeatedly seed any existing sub-prod with an identical data structure. Save time by automating recurring and one-time seeding jobs. Make sure that specific destinations are fully seeded with required data, in advance of upcoming sprints and development projects.
Seeding for ServiceNow is similar to Seeding for Salesforce, but it has some important differences. The articles in this section outline settings, configurations, and considerations specific to seeding ServiceNow environments with data.
