Remove a Permission Set License from a User
First remove or modify the relevant assigned permission sets that require the license, and then remove the assigned permission set license. This unassignment happens automatically in most scenarios, but you can also remove permission set licenses manually if needed.

Important When you unassign a permission set or permission set group from a user,
the related permission set license assignments are automatically removed in most cases.
Automatic unassignment doesn't occur when updates are made via user access policies, when
the user requires the license through another permission set, when removing a licensed
permission set from a permission set group, or when unassigning 50 or more permission sets
or permission set groups at once. In these scenarios, follow the steps in this topic.
- Identify the permission that requires the permission set license that you want to remove.

Make sure that permission isn’t assigned to the user through a permission set. You
can do that in one of these ways.
- Remove the permission from the permission sets assigned to the user
- Remove the permission set from the user’s assigned permission sets

To remove a permission set license from a single user:
- From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Users, and then select Users.
- Click the name of the user whose permission set license you want to remove.
- In the Permission Set License Assignments related list, click Del next to the permission set license that you want to remove, and then click OK.

To remove a permission set license from multiple users:
- From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Company Information, and then select Company Information. Scroll down to the Permission Set Licenses section.
- Click the name of the permission set license you want to remove.
- On the permission set license’s detail page, click View Users.
- Select the users that you want to remove assignments for. Click Remove Assignments and then click OK.
