Align waitlist participant cards with your business-specific service order by mapping a custom field to the card's sequence slot. Surface meaningful error messages when appointment actions fail business validation in the My Appointments Console. Ensure that your custom Lobby Management dashboard components automatically reflect the active service territory when a greeter changes the selection.

          • Show the Category-Specific Position on Waitlist Participant Cards
Align waitlist participant cards with your business-specific service order by mapping a custom field to the card's sequence slot. When you map a custom field, the card header shows that field's value instead of the system-generated global index. For example, a participant who's first in line for a service category can appear fourth in the global sequence. Mapping a custom field to the sequence slot corrects this mismatch, and lobby greeters see the position that matches the actual call order. Previously, cards always showed a global sequential number that didn't reflect category-specific priority.
          • Help Users Resolve Appointment Errors Faster with Custom Validation Messages
When an appointment action fails, give users a clear message of why the action was blocked. You can define messages for the Start Appointment, End Appointment, and Accept Appointment actions. Previously, the UI showed a generic error message even when you configured custom validation logic, leaving users without guidance.
          • Keep Custom Lobby Components in Sync with Territory Selections
Maintain data accuracy in the Lobby Management dashboard now that custom components can be updated when a greeter changes the active service territory. Salesforce Scheduler now publishes a default Lightning Message Service (LMS) message that keeps waitlists, appointments, and custom data views consistent. Previously, custom components had no standardized way to detect a territory change.
