          Sales professionals need a deep understanding of their customers to create effective solutions that drive business growth and retention. The significant research involved with developing account strategies can be labor intensive. Using generative AI to assist with account planning significantly reduces the time spent on this research.

          Getting to Know Sales Account Research

          Sales account research helps you compile answers to key strategic questions about your accounts. Quickly get a company overview from any account or account plan record. And, get information on competitive strengths and weaknesses, industry trends, key performance indicators, strategic priorities, and top competitors to enrich your account plan strategies.

          The seven out-of-the-box research areas are powered by web search results (1). Expand the results to see comprehensive responses (2). To ensure accuracy and trust, citations are included as part of the research output (3). Maintain control over the information by expanding, editing, and refining the generated research output. You can rewrite the research using your own company style or choose which research to save (4). Use the feedback component (thumbs up and down) to further train the large language model (5).

          Enrich Your Account Plans with Generated Insights

          After research is generated for a research area, you can easily update corresponding fields on your account or account plan records, as long as you have permission to update them.

          You have the flexibility to deselect individual fields. Be aware that preexisting data in the mapped fields is overwritten by the most recently generated research.
