          Turn On Sales Account Research

          To use generative AI for external company research directly within Salesforce, turn on and configure Account Research.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Lightning Experience
          Available in: Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited Editions with the Agentforce for Sales or Industry add-on license or included in Agentforce 1 Sales Edition.
          User Permissions Needed
          To set up Sales Cloud Einstein:

          Customize Application

          AND

          Modify All Data

          To turn on Data 360 Data Cloud Architect Permission Set
          To turn on Account Research:

          Customize Application

          OR

          Modify All Data

          Before you can use Account Research, Set up Einstein Generative AI. To get the most out of Account Research, Turn on Sales Account Plans.

          1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Account Research, and then select Account Research.
          2. Turn on Data Cloud.
          3. Turn on Account Research.
          4. Add the Record Research standard component to the Lightning record pages of the Account object.
            1. From the Object Manager, select Account and then select Lightning Record Pages.
            2. Select the name of the record page you want to add the component to, and then click Edit.
            3. Drag the Record Research component from the list of components onto the canvas.
            4. Save and activate your page.
          5. If you use account plans, repeat Step 4 for the Account Plan object.
          6. To give sales team members the ability to research accounts and view the results, assign them the Research Records permission set.
            1. From the Account Research Settings page in Setup, select Go to Permission Sets.
            2. In the permission set toolbar, click Manage Assignments and then Add Assignments.
            3. Select the checkboxes next to the names of the users you want assigned to the permission set, and then click Assign.
