Turn On AI-Powered Selling Initial Setup

To let your sales users start selling, set up Sales Cloud quickly with AI-Powered Selling Initial Setup.

Required Editions

Available in: Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Unlimited, and Agentforce 1 Sales editions with the Sales Foundation add-on.
  1. From the gear menu, select Salesforce Go, and then search for AI-Powered Selling Initial Setup on the Salesforce Go Home page.
  2. Turn on AI-Powered Selling Initial Setup.

Wait for a few seconds to get all actions marked with a green check, then proceed with the next steps.

When you turn on AI-Powered Selling Initial Setup, these required features are automatically turned on for you.

  • Account Management—Gives sales teams a complete view of customers so they can manage relationships effectively. Help sellers focus on the right accounts and plan actions that drive growth. This feature is available in the Agentforce 1 Sales Edition.
  • Pipeline Forecasting—Shows sales teams a clear picture of expected revenue so they know where to focus. Help leaders spot risks early and guide teams with data-backed decisions.
  • EAC (Einstein Activity Capture)—Keeps sales teams’ records up to date by capturing email and calendar activity automatically. Free sellers from manual updates so they can spend more time with customers.
  • ECI (Einstein Conversation Insights)—Equips sales teams with insights from customer calls so they understand what drives successful conversations. Helps sales managers coach effectively and improve deal outcomes.
  • Agentforce Lead Nurturing—Guides sales teams with automated, timely outreach that keeps existing leads engaged. Help sellers move leads forward with AI-driven messages that support consistent follow-up and higher conversion.
  • Inbound Lead Generation—Gives sales teams a steady stream of incoming leads from web forms and marketing sources. Help them respond faster by routing high-intent prospects to the right users.

When you turn on AI-Powered Selling Initial Setup, these configurations are automatically created for you.

  • An EAC configuration with default values if one doesn’t exist.
  • The Seller role if your org doesn’t have any roles.
  • The Standard Seller permission set group, which includes the combined permissions for the features that turn on.
