          Create Approval Variables

          Create an approval variable and reference it as one of your approval rule’s approval conditions. (Salesforce CPQ Managed Package)

          Required Editions

          Available in: Salesforce CPQ Summer ’16 and later with Advanced Approvals 3.1 and later
          1. Go to your approval variables object, and click New.
          2. Enter a variable name.
          3. Choose the target object.
          4. Choose the type.
            1. If you select Summary, enter values for the following fields.
              • Aggregate Field
              • Aggregate Function
              • Filter Field
              • Filter Value
              • Operator
              • Combine With
            2. If you select Discount, enter values for the following fields.
              • List Variable
              • Net Variable
          5. Click Save.
          Example
          Example This approval variable returns the highest quantity value of opportunity product lines that contain “W012671” in their product code field.
