When a user renews co-terminated contracts on an account, the Renewal Opportunity field on the contracts must be empty.
To replace a product on a renewal quote, a user must specify the product in the Renew Product Option field on the Product Option record.
When Large-Scale Amendment and Renewal is enabled and you renew a contract, renewed child subscriptions from a contract other than the parent subscription contract aren't automatically included on the renewed parent contract. To include these child subscriptions, enable Legacy Amendment and Renewal Services , or manually clone the child subscription on the parent subscription.
If the org-wide default sharing setting for products is Private, users can’t amend or renew certain records, depending on the service you use.
