          Required Editions

Available in: All Salesforce CPQ Editions

Renewal Opportunity Field on Co-Terminated Contracts

When a user renews co-terminated contracts on an account, the Renewal Opportunity field on the contracts must be empty.

          Renewal Product Option

To replace a product on a renewal quote, a user must specify the product in the Renew Product Option field on the Product Option record.

          Renewal of Bundle Subscription Contract

When Large-Scale Amendment and Renewal is enabled and you renew a contract, renewed child subscriptions from a contract other than the parent subscription contract aren't automatically included on the renewed parent contract. To include these child subscriptions, enable Legacy Amendment and Renewal Services , or manually clone the child subscription on the parent subscription.

Organization-Wide Default Sharing Settings for Products

If the org-wide default sharing setting for products is Private, users can’t amend or renew certain records, depending on the service you use.

          • If the default is Private and you use the Large-Scale Amendment and Renewal service, users can’t amend or renew assets.
          • If the default is Private and you use the Legacy Amend/Renew service, users can’t amend or renew assets or subscriptions.
