Track Contracting Job Status
You can track the status of background contracting jobs. The spinner provides visibility by showing your contracting job progress. (Salesforce CPQ Managed Package)
The spinner appears only when the contracting job is completed in the background.
Add this component to your existing order page layouts. First, find the page layouts for Orders.
- If you're using Lightning Experience, from Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Object Manager, and then select Object Manager. Next, click Order, and then scroll to the Page Layouts section.
- If you’re using Salesforce Classic, from Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Orders, and then select Page Layouts.
- Next to CPQ Order Layout, click Edit.
- From the top panel, navigate to Visualforce Pages.
- Drag the Section label to an empty section.
- Name the new section OrderContracting.
- Deselect Detail Page and Edit Page. In layout, choose 1-Column. Save your changes.
- From the Visualforce Pages menu, drag the OrderContracting label to the new section.
- Click the wrench icon on the OrderContracting section.
- To make sure that the page layout appears correctly, set Width to 100% and Height to 22. Deselect Show scrollbars and Show labels. Click OK.
- Save your changes.
