Customization Options for Events and Calendars
Get a brief overview of all options for customizing how sales reps manage their meetings and scheduling. Options differ for Lightning Experience, Salesforce Classic, and the Salesforce mobile app.

| Allow multiday events. | Let users create events that end more than one day (24 hours) after they start. | From Setup, enter Activity Settings in the Quick Find box, then select Enable Multiday Events. |

| Allow recurring events or event series. | Let users create events that repeat at a specified interval. In Salesforce Classic, those events are called recurring events. In Lightning Experience and the Salesforce mobile app, they’re called event series. See the Event Series section in Productivity Features: What's Different or Not Available in Lightning Experience | In Salesforce Classic, from Setup, enter Activity Settings in the Quick Find box, then select Enable Creation of Recurring Events. If you disable this setting, users can still edit the interval of an existing event series, but they can’t create a new series.
