          Change Microsoft Office 365 Authentication Level in Einstein Activity Capture

          Change the authentication level of Microsoft Office 365 from Application-Level to Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and vice versa. To switch to User-Level OAuth or vice versa, reset Einstein Activity Capture.

          To connect Salesforce to Microsoft 365:

          When changing to RBAC OAuth, work with your Azure admin to set up the necessary permissions for users.

          1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Einstein Activity Capture, and then select Settings.
          2. Click the down arrow and select Switch to Application-Level OAuth or Switch to RBAC OAuth.
          3. Review the server URL that Salesforce redirects you to when you log in to your Microsoft Office 365 account.
          4. Click Log In and enter your company’s Microsoft Office 365 account credentials. Then, accept Salesforce's access to Microsoft Office 365.
            When you’re done, you return to the Einstein Activity Capture setup flow and Salesforce auto-populates the tenant ID field.
          5. Optionally, test the connection between Salesforce and Microsoft Office 365.
          6. Click Finish to change the authentication method.
