Deal Recap uses Einstein to analyze your closed opportunity data—including emails, calls, and field history—to generate a concise summary of the dealʼs lifecycle.
With Deal Recap, sales reps and leaders get an AI-generated overview of key events and interactions that led to the outcome. Sales reps can also regenerate the recap if they want to update any opportunity data being used to make sure that the historical record is accurate.
Deal recaps appear on the opportunity record page for Closed Won or Closed Lost opportunities and in Pipeline Inspection. You can customize deal recaps by selecting which data is used, adding custom data, and tailoring the prompt to control the recap’s output and format.
By default, recaps are generated for all opportunities, but you can specify which opportunities can generate a recap. If there isn’t enough data to produce a meaningful recap, the recap doesn’t appear. Deal recaps are visible only to users who have the required permission sets and access to the specific opportunities.
