Get set up to use Activity 360 reporting, Pipeline Inspection deal insights, and
automated actions triggered by email insights. Prepare your Salesforce org to use standard reports
so that sales managers can monitor their team’s activities across all channels, such as emails,
email and call insights, or manually and automatically captured tasks.

Complete these prerequisites before you set up Activity 360 reporting.
Turn on Einstein Activity Capture and set up email capture.
To report on events, make sure you have at least one configuration for events that syncs
in Both Directions or Microsoft Exchange to
Salesforce.
Important Starting in Summer ’25, Activity 360
Reporting, Activity Metrics, and Activities Analytics Dashboard aren’t available unless
previously set up. Additionally, data from these reporting tools that appear in other
features, including Pipeline Inspection and Einstein Conversation Insights isn’t available
unless configured before Summer ’25. If you’re already using Activity 360 Reporting,
Activity Metrics, Activities Analytics Dashboard, or related data, you can continue to do so
until these tools are retired. To explore email data added by Einstein Activity Capture
after Summer ’25, make sure you sync email as salesforce activity and use Salesforce
Activity reports. See Considerations for Sync Email as Activity and Einstein Activity Capture Activity 360 Reporting, Activity
Metrics, Activities Dashboard Upcoming Retirement.
From Setup, enter einstein activity capture in the Quick Find box,
and then select Einstein Activity Capture.
Go to the Settings tab.
Turn on Activity 360 Reporting.
After you turn on Activity 360 reporting, find out-of-the-box reports in the Reports
tab and a prebuilt dashboard in the Dashboards tab.
