Forecast with Confidence Using Salesforce
- Forecast Your Opportunity Pipeline
Sales teams including reps, forecast managers, and other sales leaders use the Forecasts page and its rich set of features to analyze and verify whether their forecast is on track, and to a call about their sales target. - Forecast Your Consumption Revenue
Use Consumption Forecasts to view and predict revenue for a consumption-based business within a specific timeframe. The forecasts page consists of various forecast types, each providing a consolidated view. These forecasts display totals and subtotals of consumption amounts, organized by forecast rollup and time period. Forecasts can include adjustments made by forecast managers to their associates' forecasts and by associates to their own forecasts. - Change Your Forecast Date Range on the Forecasts Page
Your Salesforce admin sets up a default forecast date range display. For example, your default can be three months into the future. Use this range, or change the date range that’s shown for your own forecast. - Share Forecasts with Stakeholders
Increase visibility into your forecast and ensure stakeholders can view, adjust, submit, and report on projected sales. For example, a sales manager can share her forecasts with Sales Ops for reporting purposes, or with another sales manager while she’s out of the office. - Guidelines for Refreshing Forecasts
Certain actions can change forecasts. For example, while you’re viewing the forecasts page, your subordinates can edit related opportunities and adjust the forecasts of their own subordinates. And you can adjust one of your subordinates’ forecasts from your own page. To see these changes, refresh the forecasts page.
