Define Forecasts Quotas in Salesforce Setup

Easily manage sales quotas without Data Loader or the API, and let your team see quotas on the forecasts page.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Lightning Experience
Available in: Professional, Performance, and Developer Editions and in Enterprise and Unlimited Editions with Sales
          User Permissions Needed
To view the Forecasts Settings page:

          View Setup and Configuration

          AND

View All Forecasts OR Allow Forecasting OR delegated forecast manager

To manage quotas of all users in the forecast hierarchy:

          Manage Quotas

          AND

          View All Forecasts

          1. Make sure that quotas are enabled.
          2. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Quotas, and then click Forecasts Quotas.
          3. Select the period, forecast type, and product family (if relevant) or forecast group value of the quotas you want to add or update, and then click Show Quotas.
You can define quotas for all active forecast types, and inactive forecast types created after Summer ‘21. If a deactive legacy forecast type created before Summer ‘21 is still needed, delete the old type and recreate it in Forecasts Settings.
          4. Search for and select the users, roles, or territories whose quotas you want to manage, and then click Edit Selected Rows. You can also click the pencil icon to edit quota and currency fields.
          5. Enter quotas, and then save your changes.
