Salesforce periodically indexes your unconverted leads to make them searchable. After lead conversion, Salesforce doesn’t index the lead again. If a lead conversion takes place before it’s indexed, or a user updates a lead after conversion, it isn’t searchable.
- From Setup, enter Permission Sets and select Permission Sets.
- Click New.
- Enter a name for the permission set and save.
- Click App Permissions and then click Edit.
- Under Sales, select the View and Edit Converted Leads permission.
- Save the permission set.
- From Setup, enter Users and select Users.
- Select the user that you want to assign the new permission set to.
- Scroll to the Permission Sets related list and then click Edit Assignments.
- Assign the permission set to the user and save your changes.
The location where a converted lead appears depends on the interface that you use.
