SMS Messaging for Sales incorporates SMS capabilities directly into Sales, making it easy to send text messages to customers and fostering more effective relationship building and prospecting. Building on Salesforce Digital Engagement and Omni Channel, it provides a seamless and efficient messaging experience, letting sales reps easily respond to and manage messages. - Set Up SMS Messaging for Sales
SMS Messaging for Sales builds upon Salesforce Digital Engagement, Omni Channel and Service Cloud Voice for Sales. If Sales Engagement is also enabled, your sales team can also use SMS messages in cadences. - Send SMS Messages
To send SMS messages to customers and prospects, use the Activity Composer on lead, contact, and person account detail pages. If you use Sales Engagement cadences, you can complete SMS message steps from the To Do List or Work Queue. - View SMS Activity
SMS messaging sessions for a leads, contacts, and person accounts are visible in the Activity Timeline on record detail pages. Click a messaging activity in the timeline to view the conversation.
