          Create an SMS Channel for Each Rep in Digital Engagement

          When you have set up Digital Engagement, you can create SMS channels for each sales rep who will be sending SMS messages. Each channel corresponds to an individual sales rep’s phone number.

          Required Editions

          User Permissions Needed
          To set up Messaging: Configure Messaging
          To view SMS channels: View Setup and Configuration
          To create SMS channels:

          System Administrator AND Configure Messaging

          OR

          Configure Messaging AND Customize Application AND Manage Auth. Providers AND View Setup and Configuration AND Modify All Data

          1. Create a channel for each rep using long codes. For detailed instructions, see Create SMS Long Code Channels in Service.
          2. Customize opt-in, opt-out, and consent rules for each channel. For detailed instructions, see Customize Auto-Responses in Service Messaging Channels.
