            Enable SMS in the Activity Composer

            To let sales reps start sending SMS messages, add the SMS button to the Activity Composer on record detail pages.

            To modify page layouts: Customize Application
            1. In Setup, enter Object Manager and then click Object Manager.
            2. Click the object you want to add the messaging action for (Leads, Contacts, or Person Accounts).
            3. Click Page Layouts and select the page layout you want to update.
            4. Drag the Send Message action from the Mobile and Lightning Actions section to Salesforce Mobile and Lightning Experience Actions. Be sure to drag the Send Message action with the name _SendConversationMessage.
            5. Click Save.
