          Manage Engagement Rules

          The Engagement Score defines how actively the individuals in this account typically interact with your sales communications. A higher engagement score indicates a more interested customer. In Prospecting Center, you can add rules to define the Engagement Score.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Lightning Experience
          Available with Sales Engagement, which is included with Sales in Performance, Unlimited Editions, Agentforce 1 Edition, and available for an extra cost in Professional and Enterprise Editions. Sales Engagement is also available for an extra cost in Service and Lightning Platform.
          Important
          Important Prospecting Center is scheduled for retirement in all Salesforce orgs as of April, 2026. For existing customers, Prospecting Center remains available till April 2027.
          User Permissions Needed
          To give users access to the Sales Engagement app: Sales Engagement User

          Before you define the Engagement Score rules, make sure that Prospecting Center is enabled.

          Add or modify the Engagement Score rules, by adding points to each criteria, to calculate an Engagement Score.

          1. Go to the Prospecting Center setup page.
          2. Click Configure next to Configure Account Scoring.
          3. To create an Engagement score rule, click New rule next to the Engagement Score Rules. You can add or modify the criteria used to calculate the Engagement Score.
          4. To edit or remove the points assigned to a specific criteria, click Edit button next to a rule.

          5.  To save your changes, click Publish.
