Determine what customer data to include on the map and how it appears so that managers
and reps can find and service the records efficiently. Select the Salesforce Maps base objects
with records that you want to show on the map.
Important Always use the Salesforce Maps user interface for creating records related to the managed package objects. Creating records outside of the user interface or adding automation on the managed package objects isn’t supported. See Support for records created outside of the Maps user interface in Salesforce Knowledge.
Click Layers.
To save the marker layer privately so only you can see it, click Saved | Personal. Or, to share the marker layer with other maps users, click Saved | Corporate.
Hover over New, and select Marker
Layer.
Enter a name and description.
Select the base object with records that you want to show on maps.
Click Next.
Select the filter and style options that you want the marker layer to show.
