            List Views in the Enhanced User Experience

            Act on specific markers in a modernized list view experience. Identify how list views differ from the legacy Salesforce Maps framework so that you can better support your reps as they become accustomed to the enhanced framework.

            Required Editions

            View supported editions.
            List View Function Details
            General functionality Salesforce inactivated duplicate locales for Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, and Spain. The enhanced user experience complies with this standard.
            Selected markers
            • The Selected tab is Selected Markers in the enhanced framework and always appears in list views.
            • In addition to replacing selected markers, reps can add markers within Selected Markers.
            • To remove markers from Selected Markers, select those markers and click Clear Markers.
            Reference points
            • After reps set a reference point, they can calculate distances from the reference point for up to 10,000 markers.
            • Calculating distances requires list views to include distance fields, such as Drive Distance and Drive Time, or just Distance.
            • When reps set a reference point from a marker in list views, that marker’s row appears highlighted.
            • When driving directions aren’t available, such as when a body of water separates start and end locations, a warning message appears.
            Filters
            • Advanced Search is Filters in the enhanced framework. Improved filter functions exclude redundant search functions.
            • When list views include compound fields that store overlapping details, such as Address and Street fields, filter options include just one of those fields.
            • Field filter operators correspond with field types.
            • Groups of fields help reps filter more efficiently.
            Mass actions
            • Mass Action buttons, including Export, remain in a disabled state until your reps select a row. To add the checkbox field, configure the Maps list view settings. See Configure the Maps List View in Salesforce Knowledge.
            • If your reps select markers and then apply filters or perform a search, they lose their selections.
            Formula and text area fields
            • Details in Formula, Text Area, Rich Text Area, and Long Text Area fields appear in single lines with a maximum column width of 500 pixels.
            • Images in rich text area fields don’t appear.
