Third-Party Data Integration in Salesforce Spiff with Workato Recipes
All third-party data integrations in Salesforce Spiff, other than the default Spiff import option and default Salesforce connector, are managed through Workato, an iPaaS tool. With Workato, you can export, transform, and load data from one system to another.

Workato helps you automate business workflows across cloud and on-premises apps. For example, automate quote-to-cash business processes, which can involve transferring data between apps.
Workato recipes are user-created automated workflows that can span multiple apps. Every
recipe consists of a trigger and one or more actions. Triggers are events that start
recipe actions, either in real time or at scheduled intervals. Recipe steps, such as
actions, conditional actions, and list actions, execute every time a trigger event
occurs.
Connections authorize recipes to interact with apps, and a job represents the flow of each trigger event through a recipe.
Set Up a Third-Party Connector in Salesforce Spiff Salesforce Spiff REST API or a webhook processes all automated third-party data imported into Spiff. Send data to Spiff REST API or webhook endpoints directly or use an Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) tool, such as Workato. Workato provides a default Spiff connector that uses webhook endpoints for integrating third-party data with Spiff more easily. To purchase the Workato connector, contact your Salesforce account executive or sales partner. You can also use another iPaaS tool or design a custom solution.
Manage Third-Party Connectors in Salesforce Spiff You can sync Salesforce Spiff data with connectors other than the default Salesforce connector. However, management options for other connectors are limited.
Refresh Webhook Tokens in Salesforce Spiff If you didn’t make note of the connector ID and secret for a webhook that you created in Salesforce Spiff, those credentials are permanently lost when you close the new webhook window. These credentials are required when you set up a Spiff connection in Workato. You can’t restore these credentials, but you can generate different values.
