Route Calls Directly to and from Sales Reps

Route Calls Directly to and from Sales Reps

Assign each sales rep a direct inward dialing (DID) phone number for inbound and outbound calls using Salesforce Voice for Sales. For example, route inbound sales calls from existing customers directly to their account executives. When account executives or sales reps make outbound sales calls, their phone number appears as the caller ID. This setup is appropriate for use cases where reps need their own number for direct inbound and outbound calls.

Salesforce Voice for Sales requires a telephony configuration using Amazon Connect. To set up Salesforce Voice for Sales so sales reps can make and receive calls using a dedicated phone number, first set up Salesforce Voice, and then configure it so reps can have their own number.

For detailed instructions for setting up direct inward dialing with Salesforce Voice for Sales, see Route Calls Directly to and from Reps.
