To build and manage Einstein Bots:

          Customize Application

          OR

          Modify Metadata

          OR

          Manage Bots

          1. From the Einstein Bots setup page, create a bot by launching the guided setup.
          2. Select Bot from Scratch.
          3. Customize your bot’s greeting message. We recommend that you introduce your bot as a bot to keep trust with your customers.
          4. Define menu items for the bot. Each item is available as a dialog and appears in the bot’s Main Menu.
          5. Select an Embedded Service Deployment for your bot. If you plan to use this bot with a Messaging Channel, skip this step and add the connection later on the Bot Overview page.
The Bot Preview page doesn’t work until you link a deployment. Each bot must have a unique deployment. If you select a deployment that’s already in use by another bot or on a live site, you could disrupt those services.
          6. Click Next and then Finish. The system completes the bot creation and takes you to the Bot Builder Dialog menu.

To get oriented, explore the Overview, Dialogs, Entities, Variables, and Performance pages.

To deploy your bot, connect your bot to a channel.

To preview the bot in Bot Builder, add an Embedded Chat deployment to your bot. When you’re ready to activate your bot, click Activate.
