To deploy this bot, users must have the Manage User Profiles, Run Flows, and Permission Sets permissions.
To deploy a bot that checks the status of an Order, you must enable Orders.
To create and deploy an Intro Template Bot, you must enable both Chat and Messaging. You can deploy the Intro Template Bot to the Chat channel only.
- From the Einstein Bots setup page, create a bot by launching the guided setup.
- Select Start from a Template.
- Name your bot. This name is visible to customers, so enter a name that fits your company’s voice and tone. You can edit the name later on the Bot Overview page.
- Select your bot’s primary language and any secondary languages. The NLP engine uses the languages you select to process text.
- Select the actions that you want to include in your bot. Each action is available as a dialog and appears in the bot’s Main Menu.
-
Select an Embedded Service Deployment for your bot.
The Bot Preview page doesn’t work until you link a deployment. Each bot must have a unique deployment. If you select a deployment that’s already in use by another bot or on a live site, you could disrupt those services.
-
Click Proceed and then Finish. The system
completes the bot creation, starts building the intent model, and takes you to the Bot
Builder Dialog menu.
The intent model requires a few hours to build in the background. When the intent model is ready to use, the Model Management page is updated with metrics. Until the model is built, text input into the bot isn’t processed for intent.
To get oriented, explore the Overview, Dialogs, Entities, Variables, and Performance pages.
If your bot supports multiple languages, see Define Languages for Your Einstein Bot to complete language setup.
To deploy your bot, connect your bot to a channel.
To preview the bot in Bot Builder, add an Embedded Chat deployment to your bot. When you’re ready to activate your bot, click Activate.
