          Set Up Post-Work Summary for Field Service Mobile Workers

          Automate the completion of a work order by activating the Post-Work Summary for Field Service subagent.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Lightning Experience

          Available in: Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited Editions with the Einstein for Field Service add-on. Also available in Einstein 1 Field Service Edition.

          To purchase the Einstein for Field Service add-on, contact your Salesforce account executive.

          Available on the Field Service mobile app for Android and iOS for users with the Field Service Mobile license. Also available for Experience Site users using the Field Service mobile app.
          Setup for Einstein generative AI is available in Lightning Experience.
          Setup for Agentforce is available in Lightning Experience.
          The Field Service core features and managed package are available in Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer Editions.
          User Permissions Needed
          To activate subagents: Manage Agentforce Default Agent

          Before you begin, make sure that this prework is completed.

          Now that you’ve completed the prework, you’re ready to set up the agent.

          1. In Setup, find and select Agentforce Agents.
          2. Click New Agent.
          3. In the step for selecting an agent, select the Field Service Mobile Work template.
          4. Instruct your mobile workers to ask the AI agent for a post-work summary.
            When a worker confirms that the summary looks good, the summary is saved in the Post-Work Summary field on the work order.

          You can use the Post-Work Summary for Field Service subagent out-of-the-box or modify it to suit your business needs. In Agent Builder, start a conversation to preview how your agent builds a plan and executes actions based on user interactions. If you want to make changes, follow the instructions in Edit a Standard Subagent.

          Consider making these changes.

          • In Field Service, summaries are often comprised of more than just the work order details. For example, it’s possible that the summary also needs the work order line item, service appointment, and assets. By default, the Summarize Record action summarizes only one object. You can improve the summary by adding a prompt template. In the prompt template, add the objects that you use to build a comprehensive summary of your work orders. In addition, the prompt template can control the structure of the summary and improve the overall result. See Editing Standard Agent Action Reference Actions.
          • To see another version of the summary, try removing the Refine Post-Work Summary for Field Service action.
          • The summary is saved in the Post-Work Summary field on the work order. If you prefer a different field, update the name of the field in the subagent’s instructions.
