What’s New in Click Field Service Edge for Fuji MR20

What’s New in Click Field Service Edge for Fuji MR20

Learn about the new features and enhancements that are part of the Service Edge Fuji MR20 release.

          Release Highlights

The Fuji MR20 release focuses on improvements in product trust and providing the highest level of security.

As announced recently, Salesforce is retiring Click Field Service Edge. The official end-of-life date is December 31, 2026.

In the spotlight for this release is FSE’s Data Exporter Tool, a new feature that allows customers to accelerate their transition to Salesforce Field Service (SFS) by exporting FSE data objects into a CSV file format.

For a list of known issues, see Known Issues.

          Security and Trust

          • Adoption: Using Google Authenticator for multi-factor authentication

Twilio’s text messaging service is planned to be decommissioned from FSE with the deployment of Fuji MR20. This change will be enforced gradually while communicating with each region separately. However, we encourage customers to complete the transition as soon as possible.

          • Windows 10 end-of-support

Microsoft has recently announced that Windows 10 will reach end-of-support on October 14, 2025. Field Service Edge is already certified with Windows 11 and we recommend starting an internal discussion about this transition.

          Platform

          • Data Exporter tool: data objects in CSV format

The Data Exporter tool allows the admin user to export data objects into CSV format, which can then be used for other data manipulation as needed. This feature helps customers access the data objects for data toward inspection and validation, while using an automatic approach to increase data consistency and reliability.

          Mobile

          ClickMobile Touch App

          • Map viewer solution for Windows users

The Map View component that visualizes the interface for Windows users is changing and will be ported to a new data provider (Bing Maps).

          • Upgrade Cordova from 6.1.0 to 7.1.0 for iOS users

Apache Cordova for iOS users will be upgraded to release 7.1.0.
