Employee Transitions for HR Service Center supports several transition events that employees undergo in their career:

          • Onbarding
          • Relocation
          • Promotion
          • Job change
          • Leave of absence
          • Termination
          • Offboarding

The employee transition framework consists of a transition plan that contains a set of tasks to guide an employee through their specific transition event. An HR agent assigns the transition plan to an employee, and the tasks within the plan are assigned to an employee or their manager. Transition plans are visible in the Employee Service site to all users who are assigned a task within the transition plan. After all tasks are complete, the transition plan is visible for 30 days.

The employee transitions task and template framework is designed to provide you flexibility to create transition plans based on your needs. You can create a transition plan that is unique for an employee’s particular transition event or standardize transition plans across particular departments or particular transition events. The feature capability provides you a streamlined and automated transition workflow.

For increased automation of the employee transition framework, Salesforce Flow is available for you to automate transition tasks workflow. The Salesforce Flow Help documentation provides you with the necessary reference and setup information.
