Create a Knowledge Search Index for Agentforce IT Service
The Knowledge search index is designed to enable AI agents and support teams to search
for relevant knowledge articles and self-service content. Unlike the other indexes, the Knowledge
search index isn't deployed with the data kit. You must create it separately using the Agent Force
Data Library.
Required Editions
Available in: Lightning Experience
Available in: Unlimited, and Developer Editions with Agentforce IT
Service and Data 360
User Permissions Needed
To use Data 360 for Agentforce IT Service:
Salesforce org: System Administrator
AND
Data 360 org: Data Cloud Admin
From Setup in the Quick Find box, search for and navigate to the Agent Force
Data Library.
Click New Library.
Enter the Name and the API Name and click Next.
Select Knowledge as the Data Type and fill the Identifying Fields
and Content Fields section.
Go to Knowledge Settings and enable Use Public Knowledge
Articles.
Save your changes.
