Work with Tabs in the Field Service Mobile App Builder
Choose tab types and their placement, and add other customizations to create workflows optimized for your mobile app users.

Assign a Native Field Service Page to a Tab
Improve workflows for your users by creating tabs for frequently accessed information.
- In the Component palette, pick a page (Content Libraries, Inventory, Notifications, Schedule, or Time Sheets) and drag it to the canvas.

If you want to move the tab to a different location, drag the move icon (
) to the
new location.
- Select a filter to set the default list view for the tab. This filter is the list view mobile workers see when they first open on the tab. Apply up to three filters for Time Sheets to assign list views for offline priming.
- Name the tab in the Tab Label field.
- In the status bar, click Save.
Assign a List View Page to a Tab
Create tabs containing list views so your users can easily see what’s needed to get the job done.
- In the Component palette, drag List View to the canvas.
- In the Properties pane, select which object you want to create a list from.
- If it’s allowed for the object type, choose how to filter the list.
- Name the tab in the Tab Label field.
- In the status bar, click Save.

- To change the icon, in the canvas, click the tab whose icon you want to change.
- Click the X next to the current icon, and then click Select Icon.
- Choose an icon and click Select.
- Click Save.
- In the status bar, click Save.
Assign a Lightning Web Component (LWC) Page to a Tab
Extend tab functionality with Lightning web components.
- In the Component palette, drag Lightning Web Component (LWC) to the canvas.

Select which LWC Page for the tab to navigate to.
The list is based on which global quick actions you created
- Name the tab in the Tab Label field.
- To change the icon, click the X next to the current icon, and then click Select Icon.
- Choose an icon and click Select.
- In the status bar, click Save.
Assign a Lightning Web Component with Attributes to a Tab
Add a Lightning Web Component (LWC) that contains attributes as a tab.
- In the Component palette, drag LWC Attributes to the canvas.

Select an LWC with attributes in the properties pane.
The component and attributes must have the Experience Container Salesforce Field Service (ECSFS) target type.
- Name the tab in the Tab Label field.
- To change the icon, click the X next to the current icon, and then click Select Icon.
- Choose an icon and click Select.
- In the status bar, click Save.
Set Up Content Libraries
To organize files related to Field Service objects, create content libraries.
Note To use the content libraries feature on the Field Service mobile
app, you must create custom content libraries. The default Asset Library folder doesn’t work
with content libraries. If you try to open Asset Library on the Field Service mobile app, you
receive an error message on both Android and iOS.
- From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter and select Field Service Mobile App Builder.
- Select a configuration to add your custom Content Libraries tab to.
- In the Component palette, drag Content Libraries to the canvas.
- Name your tab with a custom tab label and, optionally, add an icon.

From the App Launcher, navigate to the Field Service Mobile App Builder. From the Mobile
App Builder, grant access to people or public groups by navigating to Files | Libraries | Manage Members.
In the Field Service mobile app, if a user opens a file in the Content Libraries tab while online, that same file remains available offline. Files that aren’t opened online aren’t available offline.
