          Work with Offline Priming in the Field Service Mobile App

          Equip your workforce with the Field Service mobile app’s offline capability so that they can complete tasks regardless of network availability.

          Required Editions

          Available in: both Salesforce Classic (not available in all orgs) and Lightning Experience
          The Field Service core features, managed package, and mobile app are available in Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer Editions.
          To access the Field Service mobile app, users need the Field Service Mobile user license.

          Key Offline Capabilities

          • Create, edit, and delete records even with limited or no connectivity. When devices reconnect to the internet, the app automatically syncs changes to Salesforce and alerts users to any conflicts that require resolution.
          • Lightning Data Service works with primed records. When online, it uses the cache to enhance performance, and when offline, it provides access to all records whether existing, changed, or new.
          • Performance Priming uses offline briefcases to sync the data mobile users need to the Field Service mobile app.
          • Briefcase Builder allows you to define and augment the specific objects and records that users can download for offline access.
          • High Volume Briefcase extends offline capabilities to include a greater number of records and their related data.
