Get Information on Optimization with Field Service Optimization Center
Optimization Center is where you can find all features related to monitoring Field
Service activities and troubleshooting issues. It gives you visibility into how Field Service is
used and how it affects your business.
Required Editions
Available in: Lightning Experience
The Field Service core features, managed package, and mobile app are available in
Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer Editions.
This is a Field Service managed package feature.
User Permissions Needed
To edit the Field Service app:
Field Service Admin permission set
To enable permissions:
Manage Profiles and Permission Sets
If your Salesforce org was created before Summer ‘24, configure Optimization Center to show in
your org.
Add the Optimization Center tab to the Field Service app.
From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter App Manager, and then
select App Manager.
From the Actions menu of the Field Service app, click Edit.
In Choose the Tabs, select the Optimization Center tab from the Available Tabs list, and
then click Save.
Enable user permissions for the System Administrator profile.
From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Users, and then select
Profiles.
Select the System Administrator profile, and then click
Edit.
In Tab Settings, under Custom Tab Settings, select Default On for
Optimization Center, and then click Save.
