Plan Your Salesforce Backup Strategy To create high-value and time-efficient policies, make a plan for identifying and prioritizing the data that you want to back up. Then make sure that users have access to the objects that store data and build your backup policy in batches.
Back Up Data with Salesforce Backup Your Salesforce Backup policy defines what data is included in backups. You can back up object data, including related records, files, and attachments. You can rely on the daily scheduled backup, set a custom schedule, or backup manually.
Restore Data from a Backup The Salesforce Backup app can restore much of your data from a backup for you. You can also export data from a backup and restore it with a data import tool such as Data Loader or Data Import Wizard. Before you start, make sure that you have object-level permissions for the records that you want to restore.
