          Manage Location Groups

          Location groups represent sets of related locations. Assign locations to a location group. A location group provides an aggregate view of inventory availability across the locations in the group. Manage them using the Omnichannel Inventory Console.

          Tip
          Tip Set up your locations and location groups before you upload inventory data to the Omnichannel Inventory service.
          • Add a Location Group
            Add a location group to aggregate inventory availability across multiple locations.
          • Edit a Location Group
            Use the Omnichannel Inventory Console to change existing fulfillment location group details.
          • Delete a Location Group
            Use the Omnichannel Inventory Console to delete a location group if you no longer use the location group to aggregate inventory availability. When you delete a location or location group, its inventory reservations are also deleted.
          • Assign a Location to a Location Group
            Use the Omnichannel Inventory Console to assign a location to a location group to aggregate inventory availability across multiple fulfillment locations.
          • Remove a Location from a Location Group
            Use the Omnichannel Inventory Console to remove a location from a group when you no longer want to include it in the group’s aggregate inventory availability counts.
