Make the Inbound Flow Available as an Outbound Flow
To provide the inbound flow as an outbound flow, use the Outbound flow available to
community users attribute. With the outbound flow enabled, service resources who are contractors
can create and manage service appointments for either an account, opportunity, or lead.
Contractors can also request their assistants to book appointments on their behalf.
Required Editions
Available in: Lightning Experience.
Available in: Enterprise and Unlimited Editions
Note Outbound flow for community users has the same behavior for anonymous bookings and filter
by resource bookings as any other outbound flow. To enter a value in the Parent Record field,
invoke the flow from the Account’s Detail page.
From
Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Flows, and then select
Flows.
Edit the required Inbound New Appointment flow.
Note Before you can edit a flow, ensure that you deactivate it.
In the Flow Builder, under Toolbar, click Manager.
Under Variables, click IsInbound.
Enter the default value as false, and then click
Done.
Under Variables, click isOutboundCommunity.
Enter the default value as true, and then click
Done.
Save your changes, and then activate the flow.
The Inbound flow is available as an Outbound flow to community users. This Outbound
flow is also compatible on mobile devices.
