Alerts help support staff stay on top of concerns about grades, attendance, and other areas that impede student success. The Record Alert object is related to the Case object and therefore, an alert relates to a learner’s case. To learn how to create custom alert categories and assign their severity levels, see Set Up Record Alert Categories.
As an advisor using the Student Success app from Education Cloud, you can manually create an alert, or set up flows to automatically create alerts and assign tasks. You can view alerts associated with a learner on the learner’s account page. You can apply a care plan to an alert, or to multiple alerts (up to 20 at a time), enabling you to proactively support learners. You can select multiple active or inactive alerts, and change their status at once.
