          Assign an Education Cloud Permission Set License to Users

          Users get different access to Education Cloud based on the license assigned to them.

          Editions Needed
          Available in: Lightning Experience
          Available in: Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer Editions with Education Cloud

          Assign Permission Set Licenses

          Before you configure the app, ensure that the Education Cloud Full Access permission set license is assigned to at least one user.

          Note
          Note The Education Cloud Full Access permission set license is also required for Salesforce admins to clone Education Cloud permission sets.
          1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Users, and then select Users.
          2. Click the user's name.
          3. In the Permission Set License Assignments related list, click Edit Assignments.
          4. Select the Education Cloud Full Access permission set license.
          5. Save your changes.

          Create a Permission Set for the Integration User

          Provide the integration user with the permissions and access they need in Education Cloud.

          1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Permission Sets, and then select Permission Sets.
          2. Click New.
          3. Enter a label and API name for your Integration User permission set.
          4. In License, select Education Cloud Full Access.
          5. Save your changes.
          6. Click System Permissions.
          7. Click Edit, and then select Access Education Cloud Objects.
          8. Save your changes.

          After you create the permission set, assign access to the objects and fields that the integration user needs.

          Assign the Education Cloud guest user permission set to anonymous users who can view Education Cloud components on an Experience site.

          1. Clone the Education Cloud Guest Access permission set.
            1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, find and select Permission Sets.
            2. Clone Education Cloud Guest Access.
            3. Enter a label and API name for your permission set.
            4. Save your changes.
          2. Select the objects and fields to make available to your guest users.
            1. Open your cloned copy of Education Cloud Guest Access.
            2. Click Object Settings.
            3. Select an object, and then click Edit.
            4. Select the object and field permissions.
            5. Save your changes.
            6. Similarly, set object and field permissions for additional objects.
          3. Assign the Education Cloud Guest Access permission set to your Experience site.
            1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Digital Experiences, and then select All Sites.
            2. Next to the site that you want to grant access to guest users, click Builder.
            3. Click Settings gear icon on Experience site., and then click General.
            4. Select Guest users can see and interact with the site without logging in.
            5. In the Guest User Profile section, click the link to the guest user profile.
            6. On the user profile page, click Assigned Users.
            7. Select the name of the guest user.
            8. In the Permission Set Assignments section, click Edit Assignments.
            9. Add your cloned copy of the Education Cloud Guest Access permission set to the Enabled Permission Sets list.
            10. Save your changes.
