Trial orgs are intended for proof of concept and guided self-exploration. Each trial org expires in 30 days from the time you sign up. To sign up for a trial org:

          1. Go to one of these trial org sign-up pages.

Education Cloud Learning Org: This fully configured org includes rich sample data and lets you see all the Education Cloud features in action. Use these orgs to see what a comprehensive enablement looks like.

Education Cloud for K—12 Learning Org: This org lets you use all of the Education Cloud features designed and set up for K—12 institutions.

            Important
Important Don’t use learning orgs for long-term projects or production environments. Use Base orgs for any implementation that you plan to convert and use for long-term environments.

Pre-Release Org: This org provides a sneak peek at upcoming release features. You can create these orgs only during sandbox preview windows. If the page doesn’t include a sign-up form, the preview window is closed.

Base Org: This unconfigured org is a blank slate with only the necessary licenses and permissions. Use these orgs for quick proof-of-concept projects or general testing.

          2. Enter the required information and click Next.
          3. Read and agree to the main service agreement.
          4. Click Submit.

After your org is created, look for an email with login details. In your trial org, Education Cloud features and all required products for those features such as Salesforce Scheduler are already enabled.
