          Create and Set Up an Action Plan Template for Applications

          Create an action plan template to represent your application, add each application stage definition record as tasks to your action plan template, and assign the template to a Program Term Application Timeline record.

          Create an Action Plan Template

          Create an action plan template to represent your application. A separate action plan template is required for each application that you create, but you can use a single action plan template for multiple programs.

          1. From the App Launcher, find and select Action Plan Templates.
          2. Click New.
          3. Enter a name for the action plan template.
            For example, Undergraduate Application.
          4. If required, enter a description for the action plan template.
          5. Select Industries as the action plan template.
          6. Select Preliminary Application Reference. as the target object.
          7. Save your changes.

          Add Tasks to Your Action Plan Template

          Assign each application stage definition record to your action plan template.

          1. From the App Launcher, find and select Action Plan Templates.
          2. Click your action plan template.
          3. Click New Individual Application Task.
          4. Enter a name for the individual application task, such as Profile Stage.
          5. Find and select the application stage definition associated with this task. For example, Profile Stage.
          6. To make this task mandatory for the application, select Required.
          7. Save your changes.
          8. Repeat this process for each stage of the application.
          9. To change the order of the stages, click Reorder, drag the stages to the desired position, and save your changes.
          10. Click Publish Template.

          Assign Your Action Plan Template to a Program Term Application Timeline

          Add the action plan template that represents your application to a program term application timeline record.

          Note
          Note Make sure that you create Program Term Application Timeline records for your application. See Create Supporting Records for Applications.
          1. From the App Launcher, find and select Program Term Application Timelines.
          2. Click a program term application timeline record.
          3. Click Actions Menu icon, and then select Edit.
          4. For Action Plan Template Version, find and select your action plan template.
          5. Save your changes.
