Education Cloud provides you with a flexible and customizable application experience. You can use Education Cloud's single-stage application template, or you can use Omnistudio components to create your own application.

You can create a single-stage application where the applicant completes and submits an application all at once. Or, create a multiple-stage application where you can complete each application stage at different times or through different means. For example, an applicant submits a form to enter their name and date of birth today, then comes back later to enter their educational history. It's not necessary for applicants to complete stages linearly.

Education Cloud also offers flexibility in who can submit an application for a prospective student. Not only can students submit applications for themselves, a third party can submit an application for a student, such as a parent, guardian, caretaker, or commissioned agent.

Regardless of the type of application that you choose, there's common preparation and configuration to be ready to accept applications to your institution, including creating sharing settings, page layouts, and records.
